We look at the covenant God made with Abram and see that the Great Commission is Jesus bringing clarity and fullness to a promise made over 1,000 years before.

The mission of God is produced by God’s love, promised by God’s love, and propagated by God’s love.

What does it look like for you today to be a blessing to all the families of the earth?

We see that God's rescue plan for Noah is an established rescue, a remembered rescue, and a singular rescue.

The love that God showed Noah is the same love He shows us today. While the flood’s victory over the results of sin was only temporary, Jesus accomplished an eternal victory over the very nature of sin and death.

Love in Relationship

In Genesis 2, we see that God’s love is expressed TO us, it is experienced BY us, and, since experience breeds expectancy, God’s love is expected.

Only by experiencing the love of God can we come to truly trust and expect the present reality of the love of God when we are no longer on the mountaintop.
